My meditation practice, which I started in 2014, changed the way I live my life.
It revealed a spiritual dimension that that was obscured by my atheism. This, in turn, helped me overcome burnout that made me feel like everything I did or achieved lacked meaning.

Since then, I’ve been documenting my journey on this blog, sharing what I learn about mindfulness and Buddhism. Little by little, my daily meditation practice taught me to observe my thoughts from a distance. They’ve lost their power to draw me in completely.
The Buddhist monk Walpola Rahula once wrote that meditation cleanses the mind of impurities and leads to the attainment of wisdom. That’s why I’ve become a lay follower of the Buddha and consider meditation a spiritual practice. Do you want to start your own spiritual journey?
